#2114: NY Legalizes Recreational Marijuana | The Legislative Gazette

This week on The Gazette, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation to legalize adult recreational use of marijuana. The state legislature approved the measure Tuesday night. Opponents warn that it will lead more people to use the drug and that traffic accidents will increase. Also, our political observer Dr. Alan Chartock shares his thoughts on the state budget.
